elemental analysis
and thermogravimetric analysis (TG-DSC). The heat stability of lanthanum isonipecotic acid is compared with that of common heat stabilizers. In order to further improve the heat stability of lanthanum isonipecotic acid
it was compounded with zinc stearate and pentaerythritol in binary and ternary combinations. When the ratio of lanthanum isonipecotic acid/zinc stearate/pentaerythritol is 2/1/2
the heat stability time is 42 min
and the anti-tarnishing property has been greatly improved. Lanthanum isonipecotic acid can absorb Cl
-
produced by poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) degradation and combine with rare earth ions to form LaCl
3
thus inhibiting the degradation of PVC and achieving the effect of heat stability.
