Bottlebrush polymers have been widely studied because of their unique molecular structures and broad application scenarios. The synthesis of bottlebrush polymers by covalent bonds grafting is time-consuming
difficult to synthesize and difficult to function. By non-covalent bonding
the side chains are easily attached to the mainchain
which provides favorable conditions for the construction of supramolecular bottlebrush copolymers. The introduction of supramolecular interactions not only brings flexibility in the preparation of bottlebrush polymer
but also makes materials more responsive
reversible and other functions. This paper introduces the construction and assembly of bottlebrush polymers mediated by supramolecular interactions such as hydrogen bond interactions
host-guest interaction
metal coordination and electrostatic interactions
their respective characteristics and construction strategies are analyzed and discussed
the huge application potential and important research significance of bottlebrush polymers mediated by supramolecular interactions are expounded. Finally
the current problems and future development are analyzed and prospected.
