As a core course for the major of polymer materials and engineering
“Polymer Physics” plays a significant role in the cultivation of talent in the field of polymer materials. This paper mainly introduces the exploration of the course group around the construction of the national first-class course “Polymer Physics”. While constantly enriching the course resources
the group has also made efforts to integrate ideological and political education into the course
implement small-class inquiry-based teaching
and conduct non-standard answer examinations throughout the process. This approach not only imparts knowledge but also instills patriotic sentiments and a sense of responsibility for serving the country through science and technology in students
stimulating their awareness of exploration and innovation
and cultivating their ability to solve practical problems. Through these reforms
the teaching effect of the course has improved
and certain achievements have been made. It is hoped that this study can provide a reference for the teaching reform of “Polymer Physics” courses in the new era.
