Based on their unique structures fluoropolymers are provided with high thermal

chemical and weather resistance. They also possess the prominent electrical and optical properties

as well as excellent surface properties

etc. For fluoropolymers take the advantages of both high performance and low (or no) pollution

they have become one of ideal coatings used in many fields. This paper mainly introduces several kinds of fluorinecontaining coatings

such as polyvinylidene fluoride

fluoro-olefine vinyl ether copolymer

polytetrafluorothylene and perfluoropolyether. The attention is paid on the relationship between their structures and properties. The developing tendency of fluoropolymers is also presented here.
