Polymer-supported chiral catalysts have broad applications in organic synthesis. The primary advantage is their ease of separation from the reaction mixture which allows very efficient recovery and reuse of the catalysts. When toxic or odorous reagents are attached to polymer supports
handling and processing of these chemicals becomes much safer and simpler. Moreover
the proper polymer may provide a respectively small space for asymmetric reaction
enhancing stereo-selectivity. So polymer-supported chiral catalysts have attracted more and more attention. Asymmetric Micheal reaction
an important carbon-carbon and carbon-hetero atom forming reaction
plays an essential role in organic synthesis and drug synthesis. In this paper
their application and the latest progress in Michael reaction were reviewed.
