Polyaniline is an ideal electrode material due to its high theoretical specific capacitance and good electrical conductivity. However
the volume swelling and shrinkage would occur during the repeated charge-discharge process
which leads to worse cycle life. While
graphene is widely used as electrode materials in supercapacitors due to high specific surfaces. Polyaniline composited with graphene make composite possess excellent electrochemical properties because of synergistic effect. The fabrication methods of Graphene-Polyaniline composites and main achievements obtained in supercapacitor field for recent years were summarized in this paper. Simultaneously
the major challenges existed in the research area of the composites were discussed. Eventually
the perspective for the future development was briefly described in supercapacitor sphere.
