polypyrrole (PPy) as thermoelectric (TE) material has received increasing attention. Controlled fabrication of PPy nanostructures or compounding with high electrically conductive carbon nanoparticles to prepare polymer/carbon nanoparticle composites can effectively improve the TE performance. In this review
the recent developments of PPy and its TE composites are discussed in detail. In addition
the preparation of one-dimensional PPy nanostructures was introduced as well.
