Polyvinyl alcohol/Chondroitin sulfate fiber scaffolds were prepared by electrospinning with polyvinyl alcohol and chondroitin sulfate as raw materials
and the optimum preparation scheme of composite porous scaffolds was obtained by orthogonal experiment. The morphology and structure of the fiber scaffolds were characterized by SEM and FTIR
and tested the cytotoxicity and degradation proformance of the material. The results shows that when the volume ratio of polyvinyl alcohol to CS solution is 3 : 1
the spinning voltage is 16 kV
and the injection rate is 0.2mm/min
the spinning effect is the best. The cytotoxicity of the material is 0 or 1
that's to say
the material is no cytotoxicity
the degradation rate is about 75% at 60 days of degradation
so the fiber scaffolds has a good application prospect in cartilage repair.
