Emulsion polymerization is one of the most important sections in polymer chemistry course. The aim of this section is training the capabilities of late recipe designing and promoting the understandings of students about free radical polymerization. However
the understanding of emulsion polymerization concepts is difficult for many students due to the complexities of particle nucleation mechanism and kinetic. Authors analyzed the process of particle nucleation and growth in the emulsion polymerization through combining the knowledge of free radical polymerization from polymerization recipe view. This manuscript can help student understand the particle nucleation mechanisms and kinetics in emulsion polymerization.
