supercapacitors (SCs) have attracted widespread attention for their advantages of high power density
good charging and discharging efficiency
wide operating temperature windows
and a long cycle life. As an electrode material
polyaniline (PANI) has the advantages of multiple intrinsic redox states and high theoretical capacitance
which is conducive to improving the energy density of supercapacitors. However
due to the unsatisfied stability of pure polyaniline and poor processing performance
the introduction of transition metal oxides (TMOs) can promote the oxidation-reduction reaction
accelerate the speed of electron transfer
and effectively improve the specific capacitance and circulation stability of electrode materials through the synergistic effect of the two components. In this paper
the new progress of TMOs/PANI nanocomposites such as Ruthenium
manganese
nickel and cobalt involved supercapacitors is reviewed
and the conductive mechanism of TMOs/PANI nanocomposites is summarized and concisely discussed.
