Whether olefin monomer could be polymerized needs to be discussed from two aspects of chemical reaction thermodynamics and kinetics. The relevant criteria and thermodynamic parameters of chemical reaction thermodynamics could provide important information of reaction direction and polymerization limit for polymerization reaction. This paper mainly discusses the polymerization thermodynamics of olefin monomer.
