Thermosensitive polymers applying in drug preparations have been greatly increasing effectiveness and safety of drugs due to their enhanced continuity and specificity in drug-delivery

since they can release or break off drug component depending on the self-feedback signal that is induced in response to environmental temperature. Thermosensitive polyphosphazenes that are a novel material with good biodegradability and excellent biocompatibility have attracted considerable attention recently because of their promising potential applications in the development of drug delivery systems. In this article thermosensitivity and biodegradability of polyphosphazenes are reviewed. The influence of LCST of polyphosphazenes and their applications in drug delivery systems are also discussed.
